At Cataract Scout Park we believe in the value of getting young people out of the classroom and into the great outdoors.
We believe that nothing prepares students for real-life like the real world. We offer a broad range of challenging, hands-on experiences that deliver lessons and learnings with long term benefits such as teamwork, communication, leadership, creative thinking, decision making, problem-solving, resilience and trust.
Our fantastic activity day and overnight camp programs give students a safe environment to experience new adventures, build confidence and form friendships.
Complete with adventurous activities, spacious lodges and great catering options, we’ll work closely with you to tailor an activity day or overnight camp experience to suit your school’s curriculum needs.
Cataract Scout Park is able to accommodate small and large school groups from Kindergarten through to Year 12, allowing students to immerse themselves in outdoor adventurous activities.
Outdoor activities at Cataract Scout Park are fully customisable in consultation with our bookings team. We can formulate an activity program to achieve your desired outcomes – whether it is to challenge older students with their teamwork skills or to build trust and friendship between new Year 7 students.
Pick the perfect team-building and adventurous activities from our extensive list. All activities are led by our highly trained and qualified staff, each experienced in outdoor skills.
Whatever activities you choose, you’ll have plenty of space at Cataract to organise your own games in the evenings, including a weather-dependent campfire!
We have a range of accommodation choices to suit your school camp. Choose from setting up camp the traditional way by pitching a tent at one of 10 campsites, complete with toilets and hot water showers. Or, you can retreat to comfortable air-conditioned lodges.
Add catering to your school visit and enjoy wholesome, delicious and nutritious meals served from our on-site canteen. Our professional caterers can cater to different food allergies and intolerances.
With options to seat between 40 people in Scout House to 650 people in our Auditorium, you can include indoor education and activities as part of your school activity day or camp.
Book a school camp or excursion you and your students will enjoy. Talk with our friendly staff about what you are looking to achieve during your next school activity day or overnight camp, and let us work with you to make it possible!
