Cataract Scout Park is the perfect location for your next Scout activity day or overnight camp. Feel right at home with the familiar, friendly Scouts hospitality, and can make the most of our exclusive benefits for Scout Groups!
The Park is perfect for Scout Groups of any size. We’ve held everything from training days and one-day activities to Cuborees and Jamborees! Boasting over 136 hectares, there’s plenty of space for adventure, whatever your needs.
Whether you want to do badge work or are looking for activities for your youth members to enjoy, you’ll have plenty of space at Cataract to make it happen!
Take your Scouting out of the Hall, with a broad range of challenging, hands-on experiences that deliver lessons and learnings with long term benefits such as teamwork, communication, leadership, creative thinking, decision making, problem solving and resilience.
Whizz down a 40-metre water slide, swing into the air or zip through the bush – it’s up to you! Practice orienteering, learn the ropes with abseiling and rock climbing, even try your hand at amateur radio! There’s so much for Scouts to do and learn at Cataract, and we can tailor your time here to fit as much in as possible.
While we have lodges available, what better way to practice your Scouting skills than by expertly pitching your tents at one of our 10 campsites? Each campsite includes its own toilet and hot shower block to bring a little comfort to your camp.
Cataract Scout Park provides excellent catering packages for Scout Groups, each prepared by our qualified in-house cook.
If you’d like to make use of a meeting space for indoor training or break out sessions, please let us know. We’d be happy to add it to your Scouting experience at Cataract.
If you’d like to book your next Scouting or Guiding event at Cataract Scout Park, please contact our friendly team on (02) 4631 6697 or firstname.lastname@example.org, where you can find out more about member benefits. We’ll see you soon!
