A world of outdoor adventure to break barriers and build confidence.

This group adventure program at Cataract Activity Centre, set on 160 hectares of bushland, promotes the power of girls in years 4 to 12.

The action-packed itinerary at the Cataract Activity Centre (CAC) can help girls and young women realise their strength and resilience. Located on Sydney’s hinterland, the CAC is an escape from the everyday and a chance to be challenged and rewarded by the great outdoors.

We want to combat the influx of low self-esteem and show girls and young women their strength by challenging them physically and mentally. This isn’t a solo effort, either – among the challenges are opportunities for team building and the forging of new friendships and support systems.

We know the next generation of women are capable, strong and resilient – we need them to know it too.

Key Information

The program runs from 8:30am—3:30pm and dedicated leaders will be with the group all day. Aside from supervising, they offer expert instruction to encourage and help the group. There are picnic facilities on-site for breaks and the CAC is COVID-safe compliant.

Key information: Late arrival may mean not finishing all activities. Adult supervision is required to assist in group management at a ratio of 1 adult per 20 youth participants. A minimum of 20 participants is required.
